Ieightnitial responsibilities performed by Lisa Kenward Events once contract is signed:

  • Provide on-going advice, research & etiquette including timeline for planning decisions
  • Plan and schedule tours – venue, photographer, florist, menu & cake/dessert tasting
  • Suggestions for décor - design, layout, color, linen - for wedding day
  • Schedule and/or attend up to a total of five meetings with bride & groom or vendors
  • Phone calls, text and emails accepted from 8am – 8pm (ET), Monday thru Sunday
  • Coordinate seating options – seating arrangements for ceremony & reception, room layout, linens, table settings, chair covers
  • Provides Preferred Vendor List for venue, bakery, officiant, flowers, DJ/Band, lodging, photographer, etc.
  • Determine handicap/special needs for guests – logistics & dietary
  • Attend/Organizing wedding ceremony rehearsal schedule the day before the wedding date - one hour maximum allocated for walk-thru & wedding ceremony rehearsal
  • Develop a Master Timeline/Production Schedule for wedding day:   Wedding Party, Transportation agenda, Band/DJ/Soloist agenda, Photography/Video agenda, Officiant agenda & Cake/Dessert Delivery 

Wedding Celebration:

  • Initiate Master Timeline on wedding day
  • On-site management and implementation of wedding rehearsal (scheduled the day before wedding celebration, one-hour allocated), ceremony and reception.  Minimum of eight hours of coordination wedding day  = 3 hours prior to ceremony, 5 hours after ceremony
  • Assist with boutonnières & flower distribution
  • Meet photographer, DJ/Band, Officiant, caterer, cake delivery upon arrival
  • Supervise placement of centerpieces/flowers on guest tables, reserve signs
  • Supervise placement of wedding ceremony chairs, decorations, arch or arbor
  • Set up guest book, unity candle, sand ceremony or other ceremony items
  • Confirm instructions for ushers on seating plan and VIP guests
  • Confirm instructions for best man and maid/matron of honor
  • Coordinate with Officiant on timing & microphone
  • Coordinate with musicians – timeline for ceremony/reception
  • Organize processional line-up
  • Timing bridal party entrance / aisle
  • Menu – Buffet or Plated Dinner – coordinate announcements
  • Hand deliver final payment to vendors upon vendor arrival
  • Wrap up unity candle/tapers/sand vases with delivery to designated family member
  • Cue Father of the Bride, Best Man, Maid of Honor for welcome message, Officiant for blessing, first dance, a toast to bride & groom and cake cutting
  • Coordinate miscellaneous items – champagne flutes, cake knife, items on gift table & flowers - prior to wedding coordinator exit
